Decoration Methods
Embroidery
Embroidery stitches your logo directly into the fabric using high-quality threads.
Best for:
- Polo shirts
- Hoodies
- Sweatshirts
- Jackets
- Workwear that needs to look smart and professional
Why choose embroidery?
- Extremely durable
- Professional, premium finish
- Ideal for everyday workwear
Things to consider:
- Very small text may need simplifying
- Works best on thicker garments
- Large back logos can feel heavier due to stitching
Embroidery is the go-to choice for a clean, long-lasting company logo on uniforms.
DTF (Direct to Film)
DTF printing transfers your design onto the garment using heat and pressure.
Best for:
- Full-colour logos
- Detailed designs
- Small text
- Multi-colour artwork
Why choose DTF?
- Great colour accuracy
- Handles fine detail well
- Soft finish
- Works on a wide range of garments
DTF is ideal for modern logos with gradients or complex designs.
Vinyl Printing
Vinyl involves cutting your design from coloured vinyl and heat pressing it onto the garment.
Best for:
- Bold text
- Numbers
- Simple logos
- High-visibility designs
Why choose vinyl?
- Sharp, clean finish
- Great for names and numbers
- Durable and long-lasting
Vinyl works best for simple, bold branding rather than detailed artwork.
Screen Printing
Screen printing pushes ink directly through a mesh screen onto the garment.
Best for:
- Larger quantity orders
- Simple colour logos
- Back prints
Why choose screen printing?
- Cost-effective for bulk orders
- Strong, vibrant colours
- Very durable finish
Screen printing is ideal for larger team orders where consistency and value matter.

Artwork Guidelines
To ensure the best possible finish on your garments, we require high-quality artwork files.
We do not offer in-house logo design or artwork recreation, so it’s important that files supplied are production-ready.
Collapsible content
File Quality
Wherever possible, please supply:
- High-resolution artwork
- Clear, sharp logos
- Correct colours
Low-resolution or pixelated images may result in reduced print quality.
If we receive artwork that is not suitable for production, we’ll contact you before proceeding.
Preferred File Types
For printing, we prefer:
- PNG files with a transparent background
- High-resolution PDF
- AI or EPS vector files (ideal where available)
Transparent backgrounds ensure your logo prints cleanly without unwanted white boxes or background blocks.
Embroidery Considerations
Very small text, thin lines or highly detailed elements may need adjusting for embroidery.
If your design needs minor adjustments to suit stitching, we’ll advise at the mock-up stage before production begins.
Colour Matching
We aim to match supplied colours as closely as possible. However, slight variations can occur depending on:
- Fabric type
- Garment colour
- Decoration method
Final Approval
Production will only begin once you have approved your artwork mock-up.
Please check spelling, positioning and colours carefully before confirming approval.
